I see green and I automatically know it’s good for me!
I find myself low on energy around 4:00 O’clock every afternoon. If I don’t eat or drink something to bring my energy level up to hold me over until dinner, I will inevitably start picking, piece of cheese here, tortilla chips there, pretzels, toast, you get the picture. I am committed to staying strong and healthy so my choice is to make this delicious and good for your power-boosting smoothie. It gives me just the kick I need to continue on with my day feeling strong and in control.
I also make this smoothie for breakfast too because it really does give me an energy boost! 🙂
1 small avocado, or 1/2 of a medium avocado, peeled and pitted
1 small frozen banana
½ cup fresh spinach
½ cup chopped fresh or frozen pineapple (5 ounces)
1 cup almond or cashew milk, I use MALK! Their products are really outstanding! *
1/2 teaspoon Stevia
1 Tablespoons pure Maple syrup
1 teaspoon chia seeds
2-teaspoons hemp seeds
16 ice cubes
Place all ingredients in a blender for 1 minute until smooth! Pour into a glass and if you want you can add a tablespoon of your favorite Flourish granola on top! 🙂
