CHERRY SMOOTHIE

Cherries are highly nutritious and have many health benefits. They are high in fiber, Vitamin C, K, plus manganese, copper, magnesium, and potassium. These are important for maintaining your immune system, skin health, muscle contraction, nerve function and, blood pressure regulation. It’s good for gut health by reducing inflammation and boosts heart health and will speed recovery after exercise. Because of their potent anti-inflammatory effects, cherries may help reduce symptoms of arthritis and gout which is a type of arthritis caused by a buildup of uric acid that causes swelling and pain in your joints. Cherry juice helps your joints and muscles after an intense workout, a run, or playing sports. Consider adding Cherries, or cherry juice into your diet. You can NEVER be too young to start taking care of your body! You can add Fresh cherries when in the season to smoothies, salads, and granola!
INGREDIENTS

Makes 2 cups (8 ounces each) servings. Or 4 (4-ounce servings)

1 cup  fresh organic cherries, pitted

1 medium banana

8 ice cubes

1-teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1-cup cashew milk

3 tablespoons of your favorite “FLOURISH” GRANOLA for each serving

2 heaping tablespoons of SO DELICIOUS, DAIRY FREE, COCOWHIP TOPPING for each serving

               GARNISH

Coco whip non-dairy whipped topping!

3 tablespoons of your favorite “FLOURISH” granola

Top with fresh cherry for each serving

Extra cherries for eating on the side (optional)
